3 Simple Ways to Manage Stress

Did you know that stress is not only bad for your health but it’s also not a good look when it comes to skin, hair, and nails? 

The American Academy of Dermatology says “mind body practices can help regulate your stress response…” That’s why it’s important to take a break from our daily hustle and bustle to talk about some serious self-love and self-care tips. You may be the queen of multitasking, but you deserve a little pampering to keep stress at bay.

Here are a few simple ways to manage stress: 

#1 Show Yourself Some Love

Don’t feel so guilty about getting a pedicure or spraying a little extra perfume on. Care for yourself until your heart’s content. It’s just a way of giving  yourself a pat on the bag or a big hug. And like the song says “Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all”. 

#2 Make Exercise a Priority

There is nothing like some straight up endorphins to put stress at ease. Run, walk, kickbox, or twerk it out. Or maybe add a little zen to your life with some yoga. It always feels like a task, but once the workout is done you’ll feel the difference. 

#3 Find Your Chill 

Maybe it’s music? Maybe is a movie or cooking up something healthy in the kitchen? Maybe even calling your best friend? Or meditation? Whatever it may be that works for you. Just remember to do more of what makes you happy and find your vibe.
