Seriously, no more spring cliches. No Spring into Spring, Spring Fling, Spring is Sprung blah blah blah! 

I’m all for the Pastels. Floral prints, And Bunnies but this Spring it’s really time to get your stuff together!

Clean up the house, declutter your makeup drawer and renew Yourself. 

It’s no coincidence that April kicks off Stress Awareness Month and we need more practical ways to handle stress than Spring emojis. So this year we’re challenging you to focus on self care for 30 days and we’ll even help you get started.

Here are 5 practical spring self care tips (no frills) 

  • Sip a floral tea
    Brew a cup of hibiscus, jasmine, or chamomile tea or try a honey-lavender latte to embrace the flavors of the season.
  • Go on a “Bloom Walk”
    Take a stroll through your neighborhood or a botanical garden. Look for new buds, blossoms, and the vibrant greens returning to the trees.
  • Open your windows
    Let the winter air out and the fresh spring breeze in. The sound of birds chirping is a natural mood booster!
  • Declutter one small space
    Channel that “spring cleaning” energy into one drawer or shelf. Clearing physical space can help to clear mental space.
  • Wear bright, airy colors
    Store the heavy knits and pull out the linen, cotton, or pastel colors that make you feel light and energized.
